Testimonials
"Our home was on the market for over 6 months with another realtor. Ellen came through the house and made some easy to accomplish recommendations which resulted in multiple offers in a matter of days. Ellen was a dream to work with - she and her staff took care of arranging for repairs to be made within a very short window of time. They even met the repairmen at the house for us. They guided us through the inspection process very efficiently. Ellen and team are very highly recommended!" - Joe James & Cecilia
"We had a very positive home searching and buying experience with Ellen. She is top notch. She was consistently in communication with us, was timely through every piece of the transaction and made the entire experience less nerve wrecking and moire enjoyable. We will absolutely use her knowledge and expertise of the Austin market for years to come." - The Miller Family
"Ellen is a truly extraordinary real estate professional. I recently faced a uniquely challenging real estate problem, and Ellen's expertise, steadfastness, and market wisdom helped guide me to a very happy outcome. I've lived all over the country (Dallas, Chicago, San Francisco, LA, etc.), and have never run across such a talented and motivated realtor. I wouldn't let a friend looking at real estate in Austin to use any realtor other than Ellen!" - Peter L
"My future husband and I are building a home - which has taken roughly a year - so the timing and strategy for selling our current home was incredibly important. Ellen's insight and professionalism not only helped make the process less stressful, her skill and expertise made selling our home almost effortless. We had it on the market less than 24 hours before getting an offer, and ended up getting $7K more than the asking price, plus the buy back lease we needed to transition into our new home. Our experience with Ellen was absolutely fabulous, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell a property." - Love Birds
"Ellen helped me during a quick job relocation across country. She found me a realtor in Michigan to where I was moving and helped me sell my house in Austin. She was very flexible in helping me manage various details with the move-out, the house was staged beautifully, and we got a ton of foot traffic without having to host an open house. She got the place to contract the exact day I was moving out of Austin. Cannot recommend her highly enough." - David G
"Ellen is awesome!!! Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable about the realestate industry she has the pulse on the Austin market. My wife and I had a long search to find our home and ended up switching realtors half way through. We are so glad we switched to Ellen. She was so helpful and accommodating. It didn't matter the time of the day, or location, if we asked to go see a house she made it happen. Even when we barely gave her any notice, she would move her schedule around to get us into every house as soon as possible. In the very rare cases she had prior engagements, she coordinated with her partner Elizabeth (who is also awesome!) to show us houses. Ellen was always supportive of our needs and never pushy. She wanted to find the perfect house for us that our whole family would love and she came through in the clutch! I would highly recommend Troxclair Residential to anyone in the market to buy or sell a home."- Travis
"Ellen is a superstar realtor in a city brimming with realtors. In a single year she helped our family rent our first home in Austin then buy our forever home in Northwest Hills. She was available when we needed her, she had all of the right contacts for inspections and closing, and she helped us navigate contract negotiations with tact and perspective. We often recommend her to friends and if we ever needed to buy or sell again we would call her immediately." - Meredith C
"Ellen Troxclair helped my wife and I negotiate the process of searching for and building a house. Her attention to detail and knowledge of the housing market and home buying process helped ensure our experience was both seamless and efficient. I would definitely recommend Ellen to anyone looking to purchase a home in the Austin area." - Travis
"Ellen did a great job of helping us sell our home of 22 years and helping us find a new home to start our new adventures in. She is a very professional and conscientious realtor and I recommend her highly to anyone!" - Jan
"Ellen was incredibly supportive throughout the entire process which, even though I'm in the mortgage business myself, really made me feel at ease and comfortable as this was my first purchase. Her expertise of the market and area is unparalleled, which made it easy to communicate and bounce ideas around together. She truly cares for this city, and it's homeowners, and it's very apparent throughout the entire process. 10/10 would refer!" - JK
"If there's one thing that my wife Kelly and I have agreed on during our home buying process, it's that hiring Ellen Troxclair was the best decision we made. Ellen was recommended by a colleague as someone who really knew the area we were looking to move into, and this was the understatement of the year. Not only was Ellen adept at showing us properties that matched our criteria in the area we had originally planned, but she found us some options in an even nicer area that hadn't been on our radar - with higher rated schools and closer nearby amenities like parks, public transportation access, and public libraries - all while staying under our desired budget. nEven when the seller's agent of the home we purchased dropped the ball, which was pretty often, Ellen was right there to pick it up and get our issues resolved, sometimes before we even knew there was an issue. She was also able to hook us up with a team that, like her, went above and beyond to make sure our closing went smoothly. This included our home inspector, who was very thorough; our lender, who negotiated a great rate for us; a roofer, who was able to follow up on an issue found in inspection and repair some damage before moving day; an A/C company, who repaired another inspection issue prior to closing; and the title company, who ran 100% on time. We couldn't be happier with the way Ellen took the stress out of the biggest purchase decision we've ever made. You'd be hard pressed to find a Realtor more skilled, understanding, and detailed than Ellen Troxclair." - JK
"If you're buying or selling in Austin, Ellen Troxclair should be your only call. In the Austin housing market, you need a realtor who can keep up with the pace at which properties come and go. Ellen could not have been more responsive. She kept us in the game in a competitive market. Because the market is hot, she could have tried to push us into a home. Ellen never did that. She was patient with our needs and wants, and took seriously putting us in a home we loved. She earned my highest recommendation and will get my repeat business." - Austin K
"I can't say enough good things about working with Ellen while we sold our starter home and bought our new home. As sometimes happens in real estate, things got a little tricky because we had to put in a contingent offer while we rushed to get our former home on the market quickly. She helped calm us down when things got stressful, gave us helpful advice, and kept super open lines of communication so we knew everything that was happening. Ellen even helped convince the buyers to accept our contingent offer as they were hesitant at first, and we eventually negotiated the price of the home down way more than I expected was possible. I'm convinced Ellen is the reason our offer was accepted at all! We wouldn't be in our dream home without her. I highly recommend her to anyone who's looking for a realtor who not only knows the local market, but who will also go above and beyond to negotiate on your behalf in this crazy Austin real estate market." - Liz
